Jakie są powszechnie używane materiały metalowe w produkcji lamp ulicznych?

As outdoor infrastructure, street lamps have high requirements for material weather resistance, strength, and cost control. The commonly used metal materials and their characteristics are as follows:

1. Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel

Application Scenarios:

Main structure components such as lamp poles, bases, and brackets, accounting for over 70% of usage. It is the most mainstream structural material for street lamps globally.

Core Advantages:

High Strength: Meets harsh outdoor requirements such as wind resistance (e.g., withstands Category 12 typhoons) and impact resistance;

Corrosion Resistance: Galvanized layer thickness≥85μm, service life up to 20-30 years, especially suitable for rainy and high-humidity regions;

Cost-Effective: High cost-performance ratio, suitable for large-scale industrial production, and meets the needs of bulk procurement in foreign trade orders.

2. Aluminum Alloy

Application Scenarios:

Lamp head casings, lightweight lamp poles, and special components for coastal/corrosive environments. Demand is rapidly growing in high-end markets in Europe and America.

Core Advantages:

Lightweight & High Strength: Density is only 1/3 that of steel, reducing transportation costs and facilitating installation;

Self-Protective Corrosion Resistance: A natural aluminum oxide protective film forms on the surface, eliminating the need for additional galvanizing. Ideal for high-corrosion environments such as coastal areas and chemical zones;

Design Flexibility: Complex shapes can be formed via die-casting/extrusion, meeting the personalized design needs of landscape street lamps.

3.Stainless Steel

Application Scenarios:

Decorative parts for high-end commercial street lamps (nameplates) and core components in extreme environments (e.g., polar regions, acid rain areas).

Core Advantages:

Superior Corrosion Resistance: 304/316 stainless steel offers excellent acid and alkali resistance, requiring no maintenance, with a service life of over 30 years;

Aesthetic & Durable: Surface can be mirror-finished or brushed, enhancing urban landscape quality and aligning with the needs of high-end projects in developed countries.

4. Copper

Application Scenarios:

Internal conductive systems (wires, terminal blocks) and decorative parts for retro-style street lamps (e.g., copper lamp covers, carvings).

Core Advantages:

Excellent Electrical Conductivity: Conductivity second only to silver, ensuring stable circuit performance and reducing failure risks;

Retro Aesthetics: Develops a unique patina appearance after oxidation, suitable for customized needs in historical districts and cultural tourism projects.

5. Cast Iron

Application Scenarios:

Traditional heavy-duty bases and brackets forRetro-style street lamp (still in demand for retro-style projects in Europe and America).

Characteristics:

High Hardness: Suitable for heavy loads, but high density (increased transportation costs) and prone to rust (requires regular painting maintenance), gradually being replaced by steel.
